The Secret of the Millionaire Mind

One of the things that have always fascinated me was how the rich people think. The secret of the millionaire mind is that there are no secrets. Millionaires just think differently than the poor, in fact, they think the opposite of what poor people and the middle class think.

Poor people always focus on their problems and how/why they can’t do or afford something. Millionaires think optimistically and focus on finding a solution to their problems. Rich people don’t dwell on the problem itself. Poor people dwell on their problems; some even refuse to face reality by not admitting they have a problem and not taking any action to change things. The following is the personality of the poor and the rich. Which would you rather be? Either one takes just as much effort; the choice is up to you.

If you find that you have a poor mindset, you can change it by consciously altering your behavior and the way you think. Stop all your negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. Instead of thinking bad about other people, wish them well and think only about the good in others. Look for opportunities everywhere instead of whining about the lack of opportunities. You can change if you put your mind to it, take it one step at a time and gradually transform yourself from who you are now to the person you want to become.

Personality Profiles of THE POOR vs THE RICH:
Think Lack vs Think Abundance
Does What is Easy vs Does Whatever it Takes
Think Small vs Think Big
Little or No Goal vs Have Goals
No Plans vs Has a Solid Plan
Belittle Others vs Encourage/Support Others
Talks About People vs Talks About Opportunities
Doesn't Expect Riches vs Expect Riches/Success
No Dreams or Desire vs Big Dream & Desire
Not thankful/grateful vs Thankful/grateful
Pessimistic vs Optimistic
Wants Others to be Poor vs Wants Others to Succeed
Miserable and Whines vs Upbeat and Happy
Hates Change of Any Kind vs Likes Change & Improves
Wants Security vs Wants Massive Wealth
Low Self-Esteem vs High Confidence Level

When you look at the two profiles clearly you can identify the type of person you want to be around. Like-minded people attract like-minded people. Birds of the same feather flock together.

If you’re trying to change and you find that you’re still hanging around the same type of petty small-minded people then maybe the changes aren’t big enough. Slowly disassociate yourself with them by not hanging out with them that much. Find other activities or places where your more successful co-workers or rich people congregate.

Engage in those activities, and hang out at the places that rich people frequent. I don’t mean expensive restaurants or events if you can’t afford it. I mean money making clubs, real estate clubs, stock investment clubs, self improvement seminars and workshops, business/finance book signings, business conventions, trade shows, etc. Always improve and get better, no matter what stage your at right now.

There really are no secrets to how millionaires think, most people think of it as some big mystery. Average people think that millionaires are so much smarter; more educated, come from rich families, and are the type of people that they can’t relate to. All of that is not true, there are a lot of self-made millionaires that come from humble beginnings and are modest, caring and kind people. When you get to a certain level, you will meet and attract millionaires that will mentor you, give you advice, an idea or even a helping hand.

One day when you become a Millionaire, remember your own beginning and where you came from. Don’t take things for granted. Be thankful, otherwise you may lose it all. And, offer advice and help others by giving back to the community.

Great, it gives an insight of what a millionaire thinks. Perhaps there should more emphasis on what millionaires do in order to make more money.
