We stayed in treehouse number 8 and it was great! Clean, bright, spacious, tastefully decorated & actually quite luxurious inside. Nicely mosquito-proof with comfortable double bed plus two extra mattresses. Useful fridge and very nice bathroom with hot shower. Thoughtful kitchenette (with coffee, bring your own tea bags), mini-fridge, and updated bathroom, just imagine taking shower at 25 feet above the ground! I loved sitting out on the balcony listening to the sounds of the waves on the rocks below, watch the sunset and the nature's noises of the jungle.

From our treehouse it was a short walk past the jungle pool to beach number 2. The sands were white, the water tropical with yellow and zebra colored tropical fish and bright teal and purple rock crabs, and cute little mudskippers all around. We were the only ones on the beach for most of our time there. Though the sea water was warm, the forest pool was a clean crisp way to rinse & cool off before returning to the room.
One afternoon we took the loop trail through the jungle (about 2 hours). I think it was just right for us...moderate exercise, some ascents but not too tough. A fun rope bridge to cross a stream at one point. A waterfall at the midway point with cute little treefrogs about. We saw some wildlife, though mostly we heard them. Another night we hired a boat to go on the resort's offered evening Mangrove/crocodile watching/firefly outing which we enjoyed quite a lot...saw lots of proboscis monkeys, a few crocs and after dark the trees were sparkling with fireflies. It was fun to get out on the boat, but a thunderstorm was brewing so the captain let us off at Santubong village for safety(the sea was growing choppy), and the resort sent out a van to ferry us back.
We liked the Rainforest Cafe. I would definitely recommend the local menu items over the western dishes, especially the freshly made juice drinks, delicious. Breakfast is included with choice of items off the menu including both Western or local food. In the evening the special Sarawak Laksa at first seemed pricey (18 RM...about $6), it was really yummy and came with a HUGE lobster sized rock prawn. Also their fruit smoothies were made on the spot and were delicious!
The aircon worked fine, but most of the time we just used the overhead fan and opened the doors with the screens drawn. A truly "Magical by Nature" place to stay, especially the tree houses are so delightful, you may never want to leave! Book your treehouse now!

The resort offers many tours and activities that are fairly priced discount on the Sarawak Cultural Village entrance & shoping, which is a 10 minute walk from Permai’s main gate. If you are staying a few days, Bako National Park is easily accessible from Permai and they also offer great river cruises to see Irrawaddy dolphins.
We enjoyed the beautiful beach and tide pools. The resort also has a rustic swimming pool that makes use of a fresh water steam that fills the two concrete pools nd then overflows into the sea. There are trails to explore on the complex with wildlife if you are up earlier enough in the morning. In the evening after a long day exploring and swimming the treehouse was a wonderful, relaxing spot to come home to. Very restful.

Now, coffee & tea is one of the most popular beverage worldwide. We have all heard that coffee is bad for our health. What if I told you that coffee can be good for you?
How can
Goat milk is as close to a perfect food as possible in nature. Its chemical structure is amazingly similar to mother's milk. It is a complete protein containing all the essential amino acids without the heavy fat content and catarrh producing materials of cow's milk.
All the said goat benefits still hold true today and just like the old times a lot of people are into goat farming to raise goat meat and milk. However, if the two industries will be compared, raising goats milk is still behind goat meat farming in terms of popularity but it is currently a steadily growing venture because of the following health benefits that could be derived from consuming goats milk:
Going through the list one could readily understand why goats milk raising is becoming a growing industry and expecialy in the Beauty industry. These are some of the products that i came across and have tried, such as cheese, butter spread, ice-cream, yogurt, bath/shower cream, soap & a fresh goat's milk mix together with my white coffee (refer the above picture). Try it and enjoy the great benefits of the goat's milk.
Can Goji Berries Make You Younger?
The property of the Goji berries having powers to provide a long life and this is evident from the case of Li Qing Yuen who went on to live till the age of 252. In his life of 252 years, he got married 14 times. He gave a lecture at the prestigious University of Beijing at the age of 200. He is reported to have had Goji berries on a daily basis. A study mentioned in the book “Goji: The Himalayan Health Secret” by Dr. Mindell has shown the results of a test conducted on several elderly people. It showed that out of the total number of people 67% of them who had Goji berries on a daily basis for 3 whole weeks were reported to have a good boost in their immunity levels. The general energy levels and the attitude of people saw a drastic change for the better. Out of the total number of people 95% reported an improvement in appetite and better sleep.
Goji berries have the highest antioxidant content on the Earth. It has an Orac (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) rating of 18500 (it is a standard used by the US Department of Agriculture for measuring total antioxidant capacity). This is much higher than what is seen in fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants have anti-aging properties and help in improving your overall immunity so that the body can fight against diseases.
Several studies especially that by Dr. Richard Cutler, a biophysicist working at the National Institute of Aging showed that the life of a man depended on and was directly proportional to the quantity of SOD present in the cells. The animals reported to have the longest life span were found to have the maximum amount of SOD. SOD works as an anti-oxidant providing protection to the cells against radiation and pollution. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent and prevents any damage to the cells as a result of a heart attack.
Now you can get it at any supermarket or health stores nearby your area, at very affordable price with a great health benefits. I have mine in a coffee mixture, the taste is great! and feeling great too!
